Lake Saint Ana is one of the most important natural attractions of the Székely land, while being the only lake in Central-Eastern Europe formed on the bottom of a crater in an extinct volcano.

The bed of Lake Saint Ana is characterized by a relatively small incline on large surfaces.

Also, as a consequence of the rapid formation of the lake, the average and maximum water depth was decreased, respectively the surface and perimeter of the lake.

Lake Saint Ana is a complex natural, geological, floristic and faunistic reservation.
