The fortified evangelical church of Cața, Cața commune, Brașov county, was built in the XIIIth century on an ancient Roman basilica dating from the XIIth century. The ensemble of the evangelical fortified church consists of church, fortified enclosure and four towers.

Today, a pentagonal tower with four floors is being preserved. On this tower that guards the entrance, it is engraved a text dating from the XIIth century.
